That's why we created a set of bedding that is all of the above. But we went one step further — our bedding is 100% organic too.

Most bedding is bad for you

Here's why:

Typically, textile manufacturers put zero effort into minimising the impact that their production has on the planet and their own workers.

They use harmful pesticides during the growing cycle and dump chemical dyes into our ecosystem after use.

“Quality” bedding is over-priced. A high thread count sounds fancy, but more threads actually end up feeling like cardboard and hinder breathability.

Lakenland's mission is to make affordable, soft bedding using organic materials and good design — not low quality fabrics or chemicals.
